3 of my favorite DFW poetry spots

If you have an affinity for poetry or the arts, and would like to support some of your local artists in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or even get on the mic yourself, you’e in luck!

I’ve gone to a lot of great shows/open mics since I started performing a couple years ago, and this is by no means an exhaustive list. Think of it as a walking start onto the spokenword scene.

These are three of my favorite weekly events:

1.Unlimited Poetry Slam

In conclusion, these are also open mics. Comedians, musicians, and all artists are welcome to come out as well, and you never know what you will see at an event!

There is a lot more going on in the poetry scene here in DFW, I’ve linked to all the hosts, slam teams, and venues.Be sure to follow all of them to stay up to date with everything they have going on, and share this list with a friend!
