Hear Fort Worth is a local organization in my city that hosts a monthly mixer for artists.

During one of their events in early 2026 I met the producer WACHO through Chico, my engineer.  We hit it off and had a great conversation as a group with some other artists.

At the end of the night, I asked Wacho to shoot over a beat pack, which he eventually did. It had 100+ loops and full beats he had created.

At this time I was going through a breakup of sorts. I also had been getting more into more dance and pop type genres like Electornic, Merengue, Cumbia, and DanceHall. Just sampling a bit here and there and loving the more feel good energy of those records

I found three beats I loved from this pack and wrote song ideas I posted to my Instagram story. They all got positive responses and all had a similar sound and subject matter: I was “Back Outside”

This song is the first of three, and I will be putting them into an EP with the same title!

These records were initially slated for release at the end of 2026, but my team heard them and urged me to drop them in the summer to catch people at the right moment, and push my EP release for “To all my lovers” from Summer to winter since it has more of that “cuffing season” vibe to it.

I got to explore “Wild Child” Sin (one of my alter egos - you've heard him in songs like “No Brakes”) on this one and this project in general. This included playing around with a new wardrobe for the video! 

Its a very Pitbull inspired look. Between him and Scarface visual references I take it this look is very Miami, but I love it. It has a bit of a flair to it that really resonates with me.

I am also just really enjoying making more upbeat, feel good music. I have made enough deep stuff. This is the most fun I have had in a while making music and videos.

There will always be time to come back to the heavier things ! 

I went out to Music in Focus studio to have it recorded, mixed and mastered.
